Privacy notice

How I use your information

Plain English, under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Last updated 12 October 2026.

Who I am

This website is run by Nick Solski, trading as ExperAInces ("I", "me", "we"). I am the controller of the personal information you give on this website. ExperAInces is currently a trading name; if the business moves into a limited company, this notice will be updated to name it.

To contact me about your information, use the contact form or email nick@experainces.com.

What I collect

  • When you ask for a free AI Opportunities Report: your name, work email, phone number if you give it, your role, your club's name, website and location, and your answers about your club. I also record which consent boxes you ticked, when you submitted, and how you found the site (for example a LinkedIn post), if your browser tells me.
  • When you send a message: your name, email, phone number and organisation if you give them, and your message.

The questionnaire never asks for anyone else's personal details, and I ask you not to include any. Please don't include any member's or staff member's personal information in your answers or messages.

How I use it, and the lawful basis

  • To prepare and send your report and instant results, and to arrange and hold a walkthrough call if you want one. Lawful basis: my legitimate interest in responding to your request, and taking steps you have asked for before any agreement.
  • To reply to your message. Lawful basis: my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
  • To send you occasional emails with practical AI tips and news about ExperAInces, only if you ticked the optional box. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting me.
  • To keep basic records of what was sent and agreed, and to meet legal and tax duties if your club becomes a client.

Your answers produce an automatic AI Readiness Score and three suggested tips. I also use your answers to suggest what support might suit your club and to prioritise follow-up: each request is automatically tagged with a priority (for example hot, warm or nurture) and a suggested service level. This has no legal or similarly significant effect on you, and I personally review every report before it is sent.

AI tools

I use AI tools to help draft reports from your answers about the club and from information your club publishes, such as its website and annual report. I review everything before it reaches you. Your name and contact details aren't needed for that drafting.

Who else handles your information

I don't sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing. These providers handle it on my behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Wix.com hosts this website and stores form submissions and contact records.
  • Google Workspace for email and documents.
  • AI services used to help draft reports, as described above.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area, Israel or the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long I keep it

I keep report requests and messages for 24 months after our last contact, then delete them, unless your club becomes a client, in which case I keep what's needed for the contract and for tax records. If you withdraw marketing consent, I keep a note of that so I don't email you again.

Cookies and tracking

I don't use advertising cookies, and I don't track you across other sites. Wix, which hosts this website, sets a small number of its own cookies and similar technologies: some are strictly necessary for security and to keep your session working (for example client-session-bind and server-session-bind), and Wix also records basic, aggregated statistics about visits (for example the bSession cookie, which lasts 30 minutes). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site and its forms will still work.

When you submit a form, your browser connects to Wix to send it securely. The site also keeps a short note in your browser for that visit only (session storage, cleared when you close the tab), so that a campaign tag from a link you clicked, such as a LinkedIn post, stays with your request. If you start the questionnaire, your answers are also saved in your own browser (local storage) so you don't lose them if the page reloads; they stay on your device, are deleted when you submit or press "Start again", and expire after 7 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask me to correct or delete it, ask me to restrict or stop using it, object to my use of it based on legitimate interests, and ask for it in a portable format. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. To do any of these, contact me as above. I'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I've used your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.

Children

This website and its services are for adults acting for clubs and organisations. They are not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

I'll update this notice if anything changes, and show the date at the top.
